Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 12oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Orange juice
  • Cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, water, cinnamon stick and orange juice in a saucepan (12oz cranberries, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 1 cinnamon stick, splash orange juice)
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat
  3. Reduce heat and let simmer 10-15 min, stirring occasionally until cranberries burst and sauce thickens
  4. Remove from heat and let cool (it will thicken more as it cools)
  5. Remove cinnamon stick
  6. Transfer to serving bowl and refrigerate until serving
