Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions
In a large stockpot over medium-high heat, heat 1 tbsp olive oil
Add ground beef and Italian sausage, cook until browned
Push meat to the edges of the pot, add onions, carrots, celery, and green onions cooking for about 4 minutes or until vegetables start to soften (1 cup carrots, 1 large onion, 3 celery stalks, 3 green onions)
Add garlic and cook for another minute (3 cloves garlic)
Stir in tomato paste and cook until caramelized, about 1-2 minutes (2 tbsp tomato paste)
Stir in salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, diced tomatoes, chicken broth and beef broth and bring to a boil (14.5 oz diced tomatoes, 6 cups chicken broth, 14oz beef broth)
Reduce heat to maintain simmer and add couscous, cooking for 8 minutes (2 cups couscous)
Stir in spinach, lima beans and corn and cook until spinich starts to wilt, about 2 minutes (2 cups spinach, 15oz lima beans, 14oz corn)
